Each your that I do this event, I hope for the best weather possible. The running joke is that is there is an M Event without rain or snow, it is a good one. Truth be told, it has only rained once at an M Event and has indeed snowed at least once, but only just after the event concluded. The weather this year was simply freaky. At one point, it was mid to high 80's with sun all day long. The only way it could have been better is if it was actually a bit cooler. We did have our fist major accident and fortunately, no one got hurt. Cars can be replaced but people cannot and the pictures prove GM's commitment to safety and engineering. Otherwise, everyone seemed to have a great time. We gave away lots of great prizes courtesy of our event sponsors (see top and upper left of this page), to which we owe a lot of thanks for helping to keep the event fun and exciting. A very special thanks to Victory Racing Engines for being our title sponsor and letting me use the mondo golf cart to get around. Please feel free to talk about the event in the event discussion forum. Let us know what you liked or didn't like about the event so we can keep making it better.
