M3 - The 3rd Annual Michigan F-Body Event

The event was a complete success, and congratulations go to the bracket elimination winners. The Mid-Michigan Motorplex in Stanton is a great track, with quality conditions and staff that took very good care of us. Many ran personal best ETs and others got well over 20 runs in, but I think everyone drove home smiling. We also had some great sponsors to make the event even more fun and exciting and everyone won something. When the event was over, some of us met up at the Ionia State Park and had a fun and relaxing cookout, headed up by Patrick Joyce who is a great cook. The best part about it was everyone getting to meet other F-Body owners and enthusiasts again, and some met for the very first time. As far as I know, everyone who attended had a wonderful time and many are already looking forward to next year's event, which is already being planned. Those of you who are now regretting missing this year's event should plan on not missing the next one, because this event gets better and better every year. Keep the weekends of the second half of September 1999 open!

I want to take this time to thank everyone of you who attended and look forward to seeing you next year, if not sooner. Until then, I invite everyone to feel free to contact me if you have any comments about this event, or any suggestions for the next one.
